MAC RAM - WHAT KIND TO BUY?

    What kind of ram does a normal macbook take?

    Im looking to buy another stick for mine because she's running a bit slow been looking at komplett.ie just haven't a clue which type to get?

    Edit: My ram is DDR2 do you know if it would take DDR3 ram or must you stick with DDR2?

    I recently purchased 4gb DDR ram upgrade for my iMac from Crucial. highly recommend using them.

    They are also useful if you don't know exactly what you are looking for, just plug in your system details and they tell you what you need :)

    Recently upgraded to 4gb. Ordered on Tuesday delivered on Thursday. Dirt cheap too.

    Just some advice; your macbook has 2 ram slots. It currently has 2X512 sticks. If you want to upgrade to 4 gigs you'll need to buy 2X2 Gig sticks.
