Wedding Venues Galway - Glenlo or Renvyle House?

    Hi Guys

I was wondering if anyone can recommend a wedding venue in Galway. We are considering Glenlo Abbey, has anyone been to or had their wedding there? Is it any good?

I also am looking at Renvyle House in Connemara (I haven't viewed it yet) and I really like the look of...seems more relaxed and informal...which is a good thing for me.

I would really love any input you have.

    Thanks

    Hiya,

I was at a wedding last Christmas in Glenlo Abbey, it was lovely, it's a beautiful place and it looked fantastic, and the food was gorgeous too. The room we were in for the Reception was upstairs and had a balcony off it which was lovely (even in December :))

My friend got married at Renvyle house hotel in 2007 - it was amazing, the food was out of this world (and expensive for them) the accomodation and grounds were stunning also.
