Does this happen to anyone else ?
If a programme is paused and i hit unpause it will take about 1s or 2s for the sound to come back... i know its not all that long but still !

    is it just me ?

No, happens to me to, always thought it was because my sound is run through a reciever, bugs the hell out of me. would love a fix if possible.

It's the time it takes for the Dolby Digital decoder to lock on, they all do it. NICAM Stereo used to take a second too.

and it would probably cost sony an extra 50c/box to put in some sort of buffer to hold the next decoded data... if its not decoded before the recording facilty which i expect it would be.

hmmm i hope they dont use that excuse to me if i call.
