Hi, ive am currently driving an 04 Clio. I recently noticed that when i touch the brakes a light flashes up which seems to be the light that comes on if i have the fog lights on, it just flashes and then goes. also i noticed last night that the horn has stopped working!!!!!

any inputs or advice as to what could be wrong? the car needs to be serviced anyway but just wondering could either of these be big problems that could cost me alot to get fixed

    thanks

Its a Renault, so it could be the Electrical Gremlins at work me thinks.

Depends on how big of a problem it is, you wont know until you get a mechanic to look at it.

The horn should be a simple fix, likely either a fuse or the horn unit itself. The other issue, I'm not sure, sounds like a wiring issue.

I don't think this is causing your fog light/brake issue but check the contacts in the rear light bulb holders for corrosion. If water gets in and they corrode you can get light isues such as the indicators coming on when you press the brake. However I wouldn't have thought this would cause a warning light to come on on the dash.
