Cartman is such an evil genius. Brilliant

I loved them ripping on Kanye, funny as hell.

I laughed all the way through that episode

the plot kinda reminded me of this

ah, it was alright. Couldn't give a monkeys about Kanye West, so that kind of ruined it.

Does he have a habit of not getting things, or was that just something they made up on the spot? South Park celebrity 'guests' often seem totally interchangeable.

Think it was more to do with the fact they thought him to be very cocky and were in a way taking him down a peg or two!

Wasn't a big fan of it. I'm not that fond of episodes where they take the piss out of famous people. Prefer episodes more involving the regular characters.

Ha Jew robots. I thought it was good, not amazing but still up there.

Check out the comments on most of Kanye's videos on youtube. Everyone's calling him a gayfish. :pac:

    Not pickin on ya tayto but last weeks episode was an epic in south park terms.. just love the way they can go so far wit things;

    'The Firecracker'
    'The Resuscitator'
    'The Sneezing unicorn'

and of course 'The Road Warrior'

    Comic genius..

Big improvement over last week, the jewbots of course being the highlight!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,698 ✭✭✭✭BlitzKrieg

aww man that one had me in stitches

Its a great episode because you didnt even need to know who the celebrity was to find it brilliant. As Jimmy said near the end *who?*

but on a side note, the Carlos Mendas bit was a dig at something he really did quite a few times. So I found that bit very good :D

My only issue with the episode is that it isnt as good outside the US because none of us call them fishsticks :D

my attempts at saying it to a friend has been

    Do you like fishsticks?

    what? fishsticks? they like fishfingers?

    uhhhh. forget it.

Yeah great episode. Good few laugh out loud moments:
    Flame On!
    Mother****ing gay fish.
    That song was inspired.

i actually thought the cartman flash backs were the weakest bits (pretty sure they did something similar before) not that they were bad, just a tad predictable.

but the clyde bit made me smile, shame he didnt mention peru.

Pretty good, the jewbots made me laugh. I also liked the theme.

This seasons been hit and miss so far.

    Although
    FLAME ON!!!

Great episode I thought. Clyde was completely right. :P As someone already said it's just a pity that no-one here calls them fishsticks :P

I thought this was a terrific episode. I loved how they ripped into 'Carlos Butthole Mencia' over his thiefing ways. I loved Cartman's flashback as well.

    'Flame on!'

'Wow Eric, incredible. Too bad I'm a dick and I'm gonna take all the credit. Suck it bitch!'

Also loved Kanye's gayfish song at the end.

Great fun episode. Can't believe some people didn't enjoy this!

Kanye West 'murdered' by South Park

Rapper Kanye West has said South Park "murdered" him in their latest episode, but claimed he found the portrayal funny.

The singer was lampooned on the show as a narcissistic figure so out of touch with the real world that he is the only person in the USA that does not understand a politically incorrect joke created by one of the show's main characters, Cartman.

However the singer has written on his blog that he saw the episode and he was willing to put his ego in check.

He wrote: "South Park murdered me last night and it's pretty funny. It hurts my feelings but what can you expect from South Park! I actually have been working on my ego though. Having the crazy ego is played out in my life and career."

He added that he started working on his ego long ago to build up his self esteem but now wants to "get past myself".

He continued: "I just want to be a doper person which starts with me not always telling people how dope (awesome) I think I am."

Last year he told The Associated Press that he was the "voice of this generation".

He was also recently quoted as saying that his greatest regrets was not being able to see himself perform live. The South Park episode repeatedly has Kanye refer to himself as a "genius".

In 2007, West vowed never to return to MTV after failing to pick up any prizes at an awards ceremony. But he chose to return a year later.

South Park's creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone recently revealed they received a signed photo of Saddam Hussein by US marines after the former Iraqi leader was shown their movie South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut in prison.

The show satirises a wide range of topics, including religion, sexuality and mental illness, and has poked fun at a number of celebrities including Tom Cruise and rapper R Kelly.

how the hell was the joke political incorrect?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,316 ✭✭✭✭amacachi

It wasn't, was just a simple thing to put into the article rather than the actual joke.

Is it wrong that the funniest bit I found in this episode was Carlos Mencia having the crap beat out of him ?

Decent episode, nothing special but a lot better than the previous episode which was positively dire.
