    Hi,

    Can anyone confirm the new rule on Mortgage interest relief coming into effect?

    I have my present mortgage on my principal property that I live in for 4 years now but I took out my first mortgage 8 years ago and traded up etc since.

    The new rule refers to 7 years - whats the new set up?
