Optical Mouse Problem

    Hey Guys
    I'm having a problem with my wireless mouse it just stopped working , it's a mikomi type

    it lights up when i plug it in but the cursor won't move:mad:
    and to make things more annoying it works on every other computer except my laptop,
    i thought there was something wrong with my usb ports but there all fine ,

    anybody have/had any similar problems

    It sounds like it could be a driver problem, because you know your USB ports work and you know the mouse works.

    From reading around it looks like others have had problems with getting this mouse to work, mostly with Vista, but also it seems to have a few problems with XP.

    What OS are you running?

    Have you tried pushing the button on the bottom of the mouse, which connects tells it to connect to its hub?

    Ye i think your right it's a driver problem , just seemed to stopped working on me :mad:

    I'm running Vista

    there's no connect button , it's a wired mouse ,

    Sounds like a good idea. You shouldn't really need a driver anyway, be it wired or wireless, but every so often you come across a weird wireless mouse.

    I have always faired well with Logitech Mice. Best of luck!

    thanks now i'm using a wirless bluetooth mouse that i use for my ps3 , it'll do fine for a while ,
