RunIreland.com seems pretty good, but probably not exhaustive.

Also worth checking out AAI site - it gets updated when permits are issued, so in theory it should be more up to date than runireland.com

But in practice most races will be promoted well in advance of the permit being granted. I am aware of instances where the permit was only decided on and received a few weeks before race date. Not great if you have to liaise with Garda, Red Cross, Order of Malta, Civil Defence, local residents, printers, etc, etc...

Business houses races also will not appear on AAI listing nor will non-permitted races.

Another source would be to search for results from previous races which most likely point to future fixtures

Hi Wizwill - only looking for sub 40? Based on your recent 5k time McMillan has you at 38:28 for 10k - go for it!

That mcmillan calculator certainly aint perfect.

    I ran a 5K race in 24:22. mcmillan puts my 10K at 50:37 but there's no way I could go sub 59...
