passport question?

    going to italy in may with the family
    will be back again before 1st june
    my sons passport expires 31 july
    is this ok?
    i have been told you have to have 6 months left on your passport when travelling?

    If it's an EU passport, it's valid for travel within the EU right up to the date of expiry. The 6 month thing only applies if you're travelling to some countries outside the EU.
