Odd Problem with Vista & Networking

    Hi all,

I encountered a problem with one of the vista machines in the house today and was wondering if someone could offer some insight.

When I boot up the machine, everything starts as normal but doesn't connect to our wireless network at home. It finds every other network in the area, except our own.

Now, the network itself is fine, PS3 is running on it as is my Mac and another Dell, yet this computer can't see it whatsoever.

AVG8 was updated today, thought it could have been behind it so restored the machine to the end of March and deleted AVG and yet it's still not working.

Any ideas? Or even what would the best way forward be?

    Cheers,

    Rb.

Well, the generic thing would be

    Reinstall Drivers

Check the channel that its broadcasting on

Have you done a total reset of the router?

Yeah, it's all very odd, downloaded a newer driver for it today and still no use.

It's picking up every network that my mac is, except for our own one.
