    Hi guys,
I was thinking of giving my friend (for her wedding present) first class tickets (upgrade) as a suprise>? Will this be impossible to do without her knowing and how much might it be?
Maybe this would not be possible even?

Hmmm I don't know ... you'd have to get all flight details off her without her realising what you're up to and then maybe ring up the airline and pay for the upgrade that way ...? It's a great idea though! By the by, you're talking at least £1,000 per person each way for first class and that's only to the caribbean. If you're talking Sydney or wherever it'll be a lot more.

Too many variables to tell really. You would need their information. The tickets may not be upgradable. Even if you upgrade, the e-ticket may have the price listed.

My biggest concern is that technically the airline could be breaking data protection legislation by discussing someone elses booking with you, let alone allowing changes to be made by a third party. Now that's more troubling.
