    I have been out twice lately with a few friends all of whom are in long term relationships. Twice I was chatting up some nice girls and the idiots (my friends) came along and ruined my chances by acting like a third wheel or saying the wrong thing or just being to drunk. I feel ripped off any advice? Should I only go on the pull with just one single wingman?

    I think I will have to try something different I just can't get over how selfish some mates can be when they know I am trying to score. What is speed dating like? How does it work?? I don't know if I need to go speed dating or if I just need a better co pilot. Cheers for the reply.

    I can't remember ever being put off a guy by his drunk friend coming up and being an idiot.. It usually makes me laugh.

    Could you not hand them money and tell them to get the round in or something when they come up? Or just introduce your friend and tell them that another friend is looking for them?

    If a girl gets odd after being introduced to your friends perhaps she is not worth it? I was introduced to the guy I fancied friends one drunk night we all bumped into each other and ended up chatting away to them(in their drunk states) so much the guy I fancied thought he'd lost his chance. In fact when they left when I was off dancing with my friends and bumped into him later on the first thing she said to me was 'My friend who fancies you has gone home' .. I was a little taken aback but we ended up kissing later that night so it obviously didn't ruin his chances.

    Moral of the story is if the girl is worth it no amount of silly drunk friends will ruin your chances.
