Nice clivej. what part of kk you from? where did you buy yours? what bullets you using, i use winchester in my lux model.

That's a 12mm centre, 10 shot group and will do that all day. In the city of KK. I got my Cz Style from Duffy's in Galway last year, I phoned them up and they said €450 but the website still said €400 so I ordered online.

I must have put every type of ammo down the tube and come to the conclusion that Eley standard subs and Lapua Club subs work the best with no change in POI
I got a score of 226 from max of 250 over the weekend my best yet shooting with the little CZ style. I changed the scope from a Nikko nighter 8-32x60, shown, to a Bushnell 4-12x40 (very good scope but multi X reticle). Now I have got a Bushnell 10x40 mildot scope for it just over the weekend off E Bay, so the 4-12x40 will be going.

That is off the bench at the Midlands range, a few people from Carlow go there as well. They have competitions as well but all nice and relaxed. I had a go in a comp. with the 223 a couple of weeks ago and didn't do to bad for a first timer. It's open to non-members as well for the compititions so all are welcome.

But i like to get out and about in the fields as well and take some bunnies with the 22lr when I can. And later on at the end of the summer it's out for the fox'es again with the 223.

223 is a great calibre for every day shooting. my best groups are 20mm @200 but thats's not all the time, but you will kill the red lad at more than those ranges, 350m + would not be out of the question but you need to know your gun well to do that, I don't yet.

But if your going to do deer stalking in the near future then think about a .243 for fox and deer.

At the range it's 50m with 12mm groups, but if out bunny bashing then I like to zero @75m for the head shots on the poor ol' critters. That way I only have to hold over 1 mildot to get me to the 100m shots hopefully.

But right now I have a new Bushnell Eite 3200 10x40 scope with the target turrets and I need to get it zeroed at the range so I know what it's doing. It's now shooting sub 1" @60m prone off a bi-pod.

When it's zeroed @50m and getting 12mm groups I will re-set the turrets to their zero mark. I'll then zero @75m and @100m to see where the turrets are at. That way I'll know what to set the turrets to when going out into the fields for hunting.

I will try to make up a drop chart for the ammo I use, that way I will know what to dial in at any distance.
