ipod touch vs ipod classic?

Hi everyone, this has prob been asked a million times but i want to get an ipod and i was wondering which do people generally think is better - ipod touch or ipod classic - i was all set on getting the classic but i'm not sure now. Any opinions would be great - thanks:)
