If you could get it for a grand less it would be ok.

Did the 2.0TD engines in the 01 car have the turbo issues? If so, get that checked before you buy.

Not sure about the Turbo Issues. Maybe someone else can shine some light on this.

There were turbo issues, but in the 150BHP engine - I think from 2002 to 2004. The 136BHP engine wasn't completely immune, but a lot less susceptible.

That's a pre-facelift 136bhp model in the advert, so should be OK. It looks quite well specced as well - much nicer seats than a lot of them had. I'd leave it if it doesn't have a good service history though.

Manual rear windows and no climate, intolerable!

Dont mind the manual rear windows :)

Also there is a sunroof so no issue with the AC

Any ideas on the electrics. Problematic or not.

I was never in the back of mine, so the manual windows never bothered me.

Service history is pretty good. And available.

Took it for a drive and it was a really comfortable drive. Spotless on the inside and like you said the leather seats are a great selling point.

Turbo failure is quite a common issue on the 150bhp E46 diesel engines - some of the 136bhp engines also affected.

Lack of climate control doesn't mean lack of AC - it might have AC, but just have manual dials. Doesn't appear to have MFSW which is a shame, but I don't think that's too hard to retrofit.

I had no problems at all with electrics - I don't think it's known to have problems in that area.

The problems were with the 150BHP engine - from 2002 to 2004. This is the earlier 136BHP engine which didn't have the same problems.

I had one of these for a long time and gave me alot of hasstle with finding a replacement turbo.

The car in the advet is not 150 bhp car if you look at the way the indicators are pointing its the older m47tu engine ehich has alot of electrical problem and also turbo problems with the garret turbos.

nice car and very comrortable but expensive to repair.
