There are a LOT of threads about cheap rooms in central Paris so it's worth a quick search in this forum to see what you can come up with.

We did a maaajor budget week in paris last summer!

    2 adults 2 kids
flights, 7 nights (various area's accomm), 3 days in disney and other tourist stuff like eiffel tower, mona lisa and the usual hotspots! food and spending for less than €900:D

We stayed in places offered on www.activehotels.com

loads of choices (and ratings etc) and we now use them all the time!
even stayed in hilton in belfast in feb before our hol £55 for 4 of us including gorgeous full hot and cold buffet brekkie!!! (which is usually about £18 something each alone!):p

    Have a look!!
    Take care
    Nicky

www.venere.com is useful in that they don't charge any commission to you on the booking, you pay the hotel not the site and each hotel has customer reviews. I have found them to be the best for France or Italy for value.
    Bon Voyage!
