Family Guy DVD sets

I'm looking at buying all of the Family Guy series on DVD over the next while. However I noticed that the region 2 sets have several episodes missing. Should I look at getting the region 1 sets instead or are they the same too?

its a mind **** after season 4 started. Although season 4 was released as season 4 in the states it was released 2 seasons here 4&5 Season 5 in the states is 6&7 here
just trying to make a little bit more mola

Really your better off holding out and buying a complete box set rather than trying to get each season. very confusing
