    Can anyone recommend were to get some decent quality .12 bb? Have heard majority of them are rubbish and the high quality ones from asia kill you in shipping.

    these arent recommended to be used in AEG's, is that correct?

    That is correct. They are too light and will just curve up. And I am to believe they can cause problems in the hop up unit.

    heard that as well...also they can shatter inside the gun as well

    Not for an AEG. Planning on putting them into a grenade to increase the range :):)

    I have some .12g's myself for grenades and claymores etc. I don't see any point in putting good BB's into something that doesn't even have a barrel :D. I never even thought about extra range.
