This is a dutch film that was on TV last night, Saturday 4th April.

Very good film. Heard about it when it came out a few years ago. Made by Paul Verhoven who made basic instinct, showgirls, total recall, etc. You wouldnt know it was made by him bar the scene where the main character is turning her hair, both upstairs and downstairs, blond.

If you havnet seen it you should. Dont let subtitles put you off. There are many twists and turns. Would recommend it.

I went into HMV to buy it but they have discontinued it. Does anyone, who has seen it and bought, know where in Dublin I might be able to buy it?. I'm thinking the dvd shop off grafton street but I aint sure.

You mean Laser? Yeah they might have it alright. Tower too. Why not buy online?

I watched it a few times, I thought it was brilliant...was on the edge of my seat the whole time. The subtitles didn't take away from it at all. I'd imagine Hmv would order it in for you no bother if they haven't got it at the moment.

Nope HMV couldnt order it in as they didnt have any copy. Will try that Laser place.

The only thing I found odd about the film was that near the end, you had the 2 dutch characters and the english fella, the former spoke dutch then spoke english to the latter but then sometimes they all spoke english.

Apart from that, very good film. The main actress was very good. Pity she was so underused in Valkrie.
