online purchases

Hi all, I'm just after buying some new style on oasis and topshop online stores. Now, I have a party next weekend and I'm not sure if the clothes will arrive by then. I know my sister bought some dresses on asos last weekend and they still have not turned up. I'm not sure either if there's any post on Good Friday, if they's not I'm f*ecked!! I'll have to wear a bin liner on Sat nite What do any of you think? Please please will I have them for the weekend!!

Also, do you find it cheaper to buy online Topshop than in store? Or does it covert back to euros?

I frequently buy stuff from shops online, usually Dorothy Perkins and Monsoon, and I have never gotten any of the stuff I bought within the same amount of days. However, I have always got it within the 7 days indicated by the website so it is a hard one to call... when exactly did you buy it? was it early today or in the last hour or so? if it was towards the start of the day then it would more then likely be shipped out within the sam day, while at the end of the day they would wait til tomorrow to send it.

Its cheaper to by online from any shop as they just charge you the direct exchange rate for the pound:Euro, bought a dress from monsoon and it was cheaper to buy it online and ship it to Ireland by about 70Euro

Toshop usually has pretty speedy delivery, i've gotten things within three days on a few occasions.

It's significantly cheaper to buy things online then in the shop. You can purchase things in sterling, they don't convert things back.

Oh wicked, thanks ^ I was gonna buy a few bits in Ts the other day, but the Sterling/Euro did not match up!

So, I'll go in try on the pieces I want, to check for sizes and buy them online when I get home

Ya, Topshop say 5 - 7 days for Ireland but they usually give that as a guideline. I know I've got purchases from ASOS within a week, while my sis is waiting over a week for hers, they state 4 - 8 days so I was just lucky. When Britain got deluged with snow last Jan, it took two weeks for a purchase to arrive!

Oasis say 3 - 4 days for Ireland so I'm hoping the postman is working friday. I'll check the An Post website.

The Topshop dress I bought is £50, which is about €55 I think. I've no idea what it would cost in the shop. I'm in Waterford and Topshop is not hectic imo

I've just purchased in the last hour and then it only occured to me that there might be no post on Friday

I have ordered from Oasis a few times and always got the stuff within 3-4 days. You can check online and see if it has been dispatched. I'd say your chances of getting your stuff on time are pretty good.
