I'm off to Cork and Limerick cities in 2 weeks, for a couple of days each. Never been to either of them before.

Anything essential/interesting to see in the cities, while I'm there?

if you like history take a look at king johns castle .if you are driving and its a good car one that wont break down take a drive around south hill just to see what a spot it is ,oh and one final point if you do DO NOT STOP FOR ANYTHING

    Limerick:
Hunt Museum, Medieval walk which includes King John's Castle, St. Mary's Cathedral, Walls of Limerick and the Treaty Stone.
If you have a car, you could venture out to Adare, Lough Gur, Bunratty Castle or Cragganowen

For a day trip from Limerick I'd head for the Burren and the Cliffs of Moher.

The Corkonians might give you some idea on what's available for a tourist in their neck of the woods.

That's harsh, I've travelled through Southill and other Limerick estates and have never been worried about stopping.

    Thanks guys.
I won't have a car, so anything in the cities themselves, is what I'm really looking for.
