I am going to start eating tuna as I heard it's a good source of protein and Im trying to up my protein intake.

I bought a can today of John Wests Tuna in Brine and am not sure how to eat it?
Do you just eat it out of the can or in a sandwich?

Do you have any serving suggestions?

Is there any other foods that are good sources of protein apart from tuna, and chicken?

    Thanks for any good advice

Eggs, Milk, lean meats, cheese, beans, nuts & seeds etc.

Well, normally I like my tuna with mayo:) As I find it horribly dry. You can eat it out of the can, if you can. Personally, I'd go for fresh salmon, it's expensive though.

drain the can and add soy sauce or lemon juice....its great

white fish can be quite cheap (whiting ect). just under the grill with a few chilli flakes, some pepper and a sqeeze of lemon juice. a squirt of cooking spray to crisp the skin just before the end......very tasy and about 25g of protein per fillet, and about €1.50 each.

nothing wrong with having it as a tuna melt, just don;t go overboard on the cheese and mayo.

They have new cans that have a lot less brine/sunflower oil so that solves that problem.
