didn't care too much for her apart from the fact that the whole thing did generate awareness about cervical cancer which is very important but it just once again proves that Sky News does nothing but run after the lowest common denominator, I'm sure if you look back you see that all the ads were for "Claim Helpline's", Unlocking your homes equity" or "trouble with you're credit rating, have you had a CCJ in the past 5 years and can't get a loan for the old trafford season ticket"!!!!!!!!!!
I couldn't believe it the morning after we won the grand slam they didn't show anything, I was looking forward to seeing what the Englis would say about it. It was the same today with the funeral, as if nothing else was happening in the world, was joking with a friend earlier, can you imagine the meeting in the news office earlier in the week.

Fair enough comments about Sky News' poor coverage but what's with the Jade Goody bashing? I know many other women suffer as she did without the coverage but for God's sake she died a horrible death..... a cancerous moron is a bit harsh don't you think. She has raised massive awareness of cervical cancer and has provided for her two sons' futures. She may not have been the sharpest tool in the box but credit where it's due.

Personally I think that someone who refers to a person who has died from cancer as a cancerous moron, is a moron themselves and good luck to them and their ignorant views. I have no interest in the cult of celebrity and the whole media thing, but my sympathies go out to her family and I admire the way she dealt with her illness.

there is screening for girls under 25 and she was screened appearantly when she was 23 they told here there was abnormal cells but that there was nothing to be concerned about, they whole theing blew up because she could of sued the team looking after here but she decided not too

As for young women being ignorant PARTYATMYGAFF, I think it's a case of pot and kettle, you might remember being younger and having the opinion that bad things only happen to other people as it's only when you get a bit older you realise that sense of mortality, that coupled with the embarassing and uncomfortable method of screening makes it easy to put away until something likes this brings home the reality of it. As I said I'm not a fan of hers but if one good thing came out of it is that young women might be more aware that this really does effect them too.

That post is pathetic. Why would someone dying no matter how much of a fool they were be great? Why would you like that? Even if i saw a homeless person die i would not wish it on them. I hope you die before you feel the pain of someone you love die. And that does not mean i wish you dead. I just hope you never feel the hurt of someone close to you passing away, no matter how un-important i think they are.

I have had an immediate family member die of cancer, my father, that does not mean i would praise some one like her. Yes in her death she may bring more awareness, but that does not mean we all forget who she was before.

If she hadn't of died, what would you think of her? My opinion of her is the same now as it was last year.

Senna, my sister has cancer. Breast and it spread to ovarian. She also has it in the base of her spine, in her bones and will never get rid.

I am very happy Jade made young girls aware of it. I couldn't give a flying fúck if you think she's a gimp. I dont think much of what she did in her life only that she DID make people more aware and i salute her for that. But in a sad way it wasnt her fault that people were made aware.

If she hadnt died i would still think nothing of her but if she still had contracted cancer and was living then yes i would have an interest in her and hope she would have done good with her knowledge.

I too have had cancer in my family and believe it or not their main concern was money and how little that person had to leave behind.

They would have jumped at the chance that Jade had because like Jade they loved the people they had to leave and no way would they have turned down a chance to make lives better.

It's simple really, she knew she was going to die.
If that was me l am ashamed to say I would be full of self pity.

She did have a horrific upbringing and that would explain her reasons for doing what she did.
