    Hi,
I was out taking photos earlier on today and this is one of them. I have learnt alot from my little "expedition :) " today and realize that this photo is not that great but am interested in hearing opinions anyway.

The reason I don't think it's that great is the overexposed sky and I think maybe the composition could be better. This is my first proper attempt at landscape.

    Any thoughts appreciated. Thanks.

Image now added again. I joined pix.ie - seems to be better than that photobucket.

I like it. I've always been partial to overexposed skies though, just like the way that it makes the background look transparent.

For me the main problem is it's very flat composition-wise and theres not enough in it to grab the attention. Landscapes are hard to do properly.

I like the trees a lot.

If you crop away the ones on the left hand side, which are a bit less tended than the fine ones just to the left of the house and mostly to the right, you will get a tighter composition, I think.

Thanks...just cropped it as you suggested here. That's actually a church.

Heres another crop actually with less grass.

    Pity the sky is overexposed.

Hey workaccount, I had a quick go at putting together a sky for you using the Difference Clouds filter -
