Microsoft Word closing error notice

Sometimes when I close a Microsoft Word 2007 document, a message comes up that "Microsoft Word has stopped working". Then one of two things can happen. It reopens Word with a fresh document or an error message bangs up with a load of (to me) jiberish. This does not happen on all documents. I had documents transferred from Windows 95 which it happens on. These were transferred to 97 - 2003 and DOCX. I thought might just be these but its not just these documents it happens on. I've tried a google search of the problem but I'm not finding the results I am looking for.

I hope somebody can help. Many thanks.
