A dish often requires slight re-alignment when adding a quad lnb to it, and most compentant installers would check this automatically. However it is also possible that the quad LNB might be faulty..

What is your signal quality and strenght like

    Check by pressing service
    then button 4 system setup
    then button 6 signal test...

input 1 is zero qulity full strenght but its flashing
input2 is good solid strenght and half quality

    Faulty LNB or damaged cable.

Too right you paid for the job to be done so it should be done correctly or if it is indeed a faulty lnb which is possible I'm sure it will be replaced no problem
