Ryanair flight but the airport closed down?

I had a flight booked for Luton in Feb. Flight was at 7am so a half an hour before my flight Luton airport closed due to snow so I then got my flight changed to Stansted at 3pm. When my flight came we got on the plane and were there for an hour then we were told the airport was shut down due to snow, we were told we could change our flights for free but by the time I got to the Ryanair desk the que was very long and my bus was leaving in 10mins so I just decided to go home as I was on the road since 1am.

I spent ages on the phone to ryanair but got nowhere, if I just went up the airport would they put me on a flight that day for free?

I would think no, is the simple answer.

You made the choice not to wait for the people who were doing it. I doubt you would convince them now to do it.
