truth about penalty points

    ok guys, im browsing loads of motor car insurance websites tonight, and am struggling to get quotes off most of them due to me having 5 penalty points and assumptions on websites state that i shouldnt have more than 4 points regardless of any other personal details, allianz, hibernian, 123.i etc , do these companies really not insure new customers with more than 4 points(it seems low maybe 8 or 9) or is it just an internet thing and its different to quote on the phone... before people mention quinn i know they dont care about points but personally dont like them(due to premiums in the past) , but am most interested in 123 but not too sure on the 4 point rule........anyone know or have experience with insurance companies and their penalty points policies?......thanks in advance;)

    Ring them and find out, I'd be surprised if they didn't give you a quote.

    as BOOMSTICK says you have to ring up to get a quote if you have 4+ points

    Insurance must give you a quote. Its an internet thing. Cant let a computer work out how much to charge someone with 4 points now can we:rolleyes:
