    Hi Folks,

I have a problem with the Audio on my receiver whilst it seems to be fine on the BBC`s it gradually slips after a minute or so on every station till it is unwatchable:mad:.

It was fine for the first month and i done some fiddling to get all the channels tuned in as it was stored away for 2-3 years and needed near complete retuning.

Could it just be a wrong audio coding?as the picture is perfect and never fails.

All i do know is pause it for a sec then unpause and so on to get it back in line.

Here is a pic of the box

Great Forum by the way,i found it very useful over the last few weeks;),

    Hi Greg,

Have you updated the firmware to a non standard firmware? That caused similar issues on a different Comag.

Is the box over heating by any chance? Do you place anything on top of the box?

I believe that the Porty II are Comag receivers, you could try emailing comag at hotline@comag-ag.de , its an old address but may still work. Failing that, take a look at their contact details on the website:
    http://www.comag.de/en/kat.php?k=8

As a replacement and if you only watch FTA stuff @ 28.2, you could do worse than picking up a Sat4free box from Powercity for about 79euro, comes with a pretty nice 7 day epg..

    Thanks mj,

The box doesn`t seem to be overheating and is not covered in any way.

I will try updating the firmware and see, can`t complain as i got it for nought of the aul man:),and rumour is he has another he`s not using so.

Might drop Comaq a query too,

    Greg
