Second hand bike for a friend

My friend wants to get his first road bike for leisure cycling. Budget's €400 so obviously second hand's the way to go. I've seen a few SCR 4.0 and 3.0 on buy and sell for between 250 and 400. I reckon no more than 250-275 for a 4.0 and 300-325 for a 3.0? What do you guys think 2nd hand prices for those bikes should be?…

Obviously fit is the most important so I'll go with him and check them out before he buys. If the groupset's in decent nick I reckon any of them would be a perfect starter bike. Anything wrong/needs doing I can fix for him to save lbs charges.

If anyone has a bike in this price range in a 54 please let me know!
