    Hi,
I have some nice photos but with dull, grey background/sky.
What's the 1.easiest, 2. quickest, 3. best way to change this (make like a blue sky, clouds etc.)
    thanks,
    pa.

Costs a fair bit. Plugin for Photoshop called Mask Pro 4.1. Another one is Liquid Mask 3 for PS. They are probably the easiest. Another way is by using a layers mask in Photoshop itself but takes a little learning.

Afraid I don't know any particularly easy way, but what I've done in the past:

    1. Open original photo. Save as a copy (in case you mess up).
    2. Select the sky using a variety of tools
    3. Open a photo of just the kind of sky you want
    4. Copy and paste the new sky into the bit you've got selected in the first pic
    5. Tweak

The hard bit for me is selecting the sky in the original picture - if it's a clear space of sky it's easier (the magic wand tool will do most of the work) - if there are trees and electric poles and other things in the skyline you need to zoom in close and start picking things pixel by pixel, which is tedious.

Goggle it, Type in something like: Photoshop change sky and it will probably throw up a good tutorial

You can do the Russell Brown technique. Look for "The Day with No Sky" parts I & II

It's just his voice which is really annoying
