    Hi all,
I'm having some trouble,When i import photos from my card into bridge,They go into a new folder(yyyymmdd) which is handy as i'll always remember dates and can just find the pics that way.But when i select multiple photos and drag and drop them into lightroom it removes the originals from the folder meaing i'm left with an empty folder and won't be able to find the photo's as easy...How can i prevent bridge from cutting and pasting the file's(i assume it's doing this)and instead just copy and past them?

    Thanks all

You can use the Import function in lightroom. Select File, Import Photos from Disk, Select the Images you would like to import from the folder then in the next dialogbox, drop down the file handling list and choose Add Photos to Catalog without moving. A little more to it than Drag n' Drop, but should do the job.
