Anyone else finding it hard to get up these mornings after the time change. Just last week i was so happy to wake up every morning before my alarm went off. Woke up so fresh. Now i'm finding it very difficult to wake up on time. Does anyone have any advice/tips to make mornings and getting up easier.

How have you managed it for the last 20 or so other years OP?

The added darkness messed with my head the first few days. Before the clocks changed I'd wake up and I'd know roughly what time it was by how bright/dark my room was. But now it's not so bright and I haven't gotten used to it, makes me think I have longer in bed than I actually do.

Get up @ 8.30 in for work at 9.15. Takes 20 mins to walk to work. Could life be any better bar living above where you work?

Nope. I'm glorious in the morning.

It's not that bright, especially when your tiny bedroom window faces south.

I work for a neighbour - a 10 minute walk away from me. I used to drive to work until my car gave up on me. I thought i was bad but now i've heard it all - driving a 2 minute walk - i like it.

Cant get up out of the bed at all.

On the 12 o clock shift this week, I set the alarm for 7 (usual time if I was working the 9 shift) in the hope I will get up & do a bit.

Didnt get out of bed until 10 all this week.

So lazy, Im blaming the time change!!

I usually don't get up before 10 or 11 so it doesn't really affect me.

I'm telling you it is as bright as day at 6.45 in the morning.
Mind you I keep the heavy curtains open,so that would make a difference to the brightness of the room.

    I have one, they're ****e!

First of all it flys straight up and practically lands in your hand. Sometimes that little ball thing falls off if you try to catch it before it gets away, then you have to do a search. I've tried angling it but it still seams to fly straight up and down.

The absolute worst thing about it though is it won't turn off until you put the flying bit back on. Sounds ok until you go leave the country and your neighbors break down your door after the forth day to kill your fancy alarm clock.

Awwww no... I thought the idea was brilliant! Sucks for your neighbours though - did that actually happen?

Lol, they didn't break down the door but I got an ear full when I got back. It was still buzzing when I got in the door, it had worn down the battery so you could barely hear it at that stage. It's extremely loud with new battery's, they lived in an apartment upstairs and on the other side of the building and they could still hear it.

I'm up at 3:30am everyday, so I haven't even noticed the time change yet.

I get up, pull my socks on over my shoes, kiss the dog, and put my wife out in the garden.
