Where to stay in Prague town?

    Right here's the story....

    Friends going to Prague the May bank hol weekend - being lads still havent booked accomodation. (Flying Friday 1st, coming back Monday 4th May)

    Flights are gone up to mad money, so I was thinking of getting the Ryanair flight the day before as it's half the price as Aer Lingus who they are flying with.

    I'm happy with this as i'll get to see the city on the Thursday/Friday and meet them the Fri night.

    Here's the thing, not a clue where to stay. I know if I book a hotel thats a mix between value/quality that they'll just book that when they arrive so all will be good. (Yes they're stupid not prebooking but that's not my problem). So basicly can anyone recommend me a place thats a nice mix between price/quality (lets say 50euro per night) in Prague town?

    I tried to sort out apartments that would hold the lot of us but it's too much hassle to organise ( yes i know it'd be way cheaper)
