    Hi all,

I've been offered a guitar trade - straight swap.

    2006 D-41 (which I currently own) for a 1996 HD28 VR Custom.

Anyone got any advice for me?

Play them both, keep the one you think sounds and plays the best. Don't worry about what's supposed to be better on paper, play them and trust your your hands and your ears.

Why? D41 is a beautiful guitar. I love those block inlays. Are you unhappy with the sound?

No I love it! It's kind of my guitar for life.

A friend of mine loves my D41 and got his paws on this HD28. I wasn't looking for a trade.

I'm meeting him tomorrow to give it a go.

It's a 1934 Vintage Replica, he has an original 1934 - says thats why he doesn't want to keep this one.

Trying to get a value on the 1996 HD28 VR Custom but not having much luck!

I'll play it but I can't see it being as nice as my own ....I'll keep ye posted!
