Not sure if there has been a post on this already, but tickets are available on the quins website for this game.

Register for the quins website and you should be able to book tickets.;) That'll teach 'em for not moving the match to Twickers!:D

I guess the date might not suit a lot of people.

Welcome to boards. I just ordered to two tickets. Hopefully everything is alright.

Thanks, hopefully should get a decent crowd over. Think alot may have been put off by the apparent lack of tickets. Looking forward to it!

Mine our to be picked up on the day. I hope all will be ok. I'll just get to the ground early.

I'm surprised the Quins fans didn't snap them all up, I supsect this might be becasue they feel they are been over charged for the game. I think they are almost charging double for this one.

    £35

£3 booking fee... maybe I should have put this up in the Bargain Alerts forum :p

I believe they are saving their money for the Semi-Final in Dublin.

    ** Spoiler**Spoiler**

Quinns hammer Worcester 60 : 14 to go top in GP, scoring 10 tries

They would be hitting top form the week before we play them!!

Big game against bath again for them on sat, so they'll be playing their third game in 12 days next Sunday when they meet us - possible silver lining??

    No problem for us!

Think would prefer to go over as under dogs, probably will happen since Sky will croon on about the GP and its incredibly high standard.

3 matches in 12 days (Quins) versus 3 matches in 14 days (Leinster), not a huge difference there really.

Let's just hope for no injuries on Saturday. Actually there's a question, as a leinster fan would you take a win in Munster at the cost of injuries to say BOD and Jennings for the quins game?
Don't think I would, the HEC is where it should be at for us this year if it was a straight choice!

3 in 15 for Leinster so still have an extra 3 days recoup time over the period - so we should be a little bit fresher.

No, as important as the game v munster is, we've won the ML already, hc is definetly priority this yr - especially as we get a chance for revenge against munster in croker - Possible reversal of our 06 fortunes, where we beat them home and away in ml, and then they hockeyed us in the semi, would be well acceptable - getting a bit ahead of ourselves here though...

Anyone watching the Quins-Bath match? They look very good and have been on form. Leinster's chances look very slim.

Yup i think Cheika's selection might backfire for next week now, i still think they needed this match to get their backs in order at a high octane level but i very much doubt it. Scrum will be very much tested but i think Leinster might have the edge at the line out. Still Harlequins look like favorites at the moment.

Watched the match and been following Quins all year. For me they are the form team in the GP at the minute, brilliant set piece (minced Bath's scrum, no mean feat) and a brilliant defence. Kept Bath tryless today, again quite an achievement..and in the likes of Monye, Easter, Ross and Evans (surely the best 10 in the GP) have some of its best players...Leinster will have their work cut out for them...

I agree that they are decent team , lenister have a lot more behind the scrum though imo , thought banaher and james were especially poor today .

Leinster will need to pull a big performance out of the hat. Quines really are inform and will be tuff on their home ground. If they play like they did aginst Munster i think Quines will win it.

I thought i saw Contepomi sporting a pair of boots just like thoes the other night

Huge pressure on Leinster to give a big performance in this one and the need for O'Driscoll to play is almost desperate. I can see Contepomi upping his game significantly away from the pressure that Munster and his history against them seems to put on him but without a firing O'Driscoll its going to be very tough to win.

Munster won the battle in the pack but not by enough of a margin to really worry about but the backline play was shocking and although some, maybe a lot of this is down to coaching and the backline having a look of being tossed together, the lack of the leadership and tactical nous of O'Driscoll looks like the major problem. Kearney has to be moved off the wing-he always looks flat when played there and I think the key to beating Quins is a high-tempo attacking game which Kearney can help with from full-back and Girven Dempsey, for all his other attributes, isnt a great provider of.

I would say, very optomistically, but also very causiosly, that this could very well be Leinster at their most dangerous - down and out, ridiculed and written off.

Leinster with pressure = HEC Semi final hammering by Munster in 06
Leinster with no pressure = Bonus point hammering of Munster with exact same 15's on the pitch in same venue couple of months later.

When the whole season is looked back upon, this could very well be the turning point....

Then again we could just be complete toss and get hammered in London...but I prefer my theroy.... :p

[Jackass] - official optimistic poster of the day on boards!!

Taidghbaby - official realistic poster of the day!

Yes i think we can win! Yes we are at our most dangerous when underdogs! However I currently rate us 60-40 against :(

But anyway (A big dirty Ronan Keating) "Come on Leinster" :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 743 ✭✭✭garbanzo

Likewise very very nervous about this one. We don't travel well do we. Not just nervous about the match itself as I am just about to head out to watch it in a Munster pub. Am down in Co. Clare with the in-laws for easter, sneaking out for pints under the guise of shouting for my team.

I'm nervous as everyone will be steaming after their result against the Ospreys and, I am likely to get ripped to bits as Leinster, likewise, get ripped to bits by 'Quins.

If you never hear from me on Boards.ie again, someone please avenge my death !

    Ah, don't be so negative.
I'm sure MC told the Leinster boys about the result at TP, the Leinster team will want a bit of the limelight. I wouldn't blame them for being sick to the stomach of Munster getting all the glory (and being the better province :D:D).

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,155 ✭✭✭juvenal

Good early chance for Leinster - scrum about 10m from the 'Quins line.

Made a mess of it, knock-on, scrum 'Quins.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,160 ✭✭✭randomer

Thats a shocker. Turner Hall dived on Contepomi when he was on the ground. That should have been a penalty to Leinster.

very slow out of the traps we will need to be faster with the support

Penalty Quinns, 33m out straight infront, missed.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,155 ✭✭✭juvenal

Early three points for 'Quins by the looks of it, bit of confusion in midfield with Contepomi missing the pass and 'Quins pressure results in the penalty for holding on.

    Evans misses the penalty!?

    6mins: Quins 0 Leinster 0

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

How ironic, Evans does a Contepomi. :D:D

    9 mins, nil - nil.

Set pieces aren't functioning well for Leinster so far.
