Midi Keyboard Help

My own m-audio keystation 49e decided to stop working on me a few days ago, so I got a lend of a midiman oxygen 8 (not v2). I can't seem to find the drivers anywhere on the net to use this with vista (32 bit). Can anyone shed some light on this? Is this keyboard compatible with vista?

    Cheers...

Looking at the M Audio website it appears you have got the only keyboard with no driver support.

Yep. I tried downloading a few of the other ones, like Oxygen 8 v2 and they won't work.

Hmm, I was going to suggest that!

I googled (like you I suspect) and can find nothing.

    Whats up with the keystation?

The keystation was working grand about 2 weeks ago, then I plugged it in there on Saturday and it powers up alright when its connected but the software can't find it (reason and reaper). I tried it on a mac and the same thing, it powers up but logic and reason couldn't find it. I've been reading through forums and apparently its a common problem with the keystation 49, nowhere seemed to have any solutions though.

You'd be as well sending the Support Team an electronic mail.

A while back.. my Dad bought me a Wireless USB dongle that wasnt OSX compatible.. After me prepping him and all.

Anyway.. Checked the site.. no drivers available whatsoever.

Sent support an Email & they sent me an "experimental" driver. Works perfectly.

Just because it ain't on the site, don't mean that it doesn't exist.

I've also got driver updates in the past from Native Instruments that were not offical releases.. so its worth a try at least Mate.

it's a long shot and mayhap unrelated but my KeyRig 25 works fine under Vista when I use Trigger Finger drivers. don't even ask how I ended up with that config :p

I'm glad you asked me that question :p

they are the drivers for the m-audio Trigger Finger
I use one occasionally for triggering percussion sounds when doing live stuff but my KeyRig 25 uses the driver when I plug it in.
