Just wondering, is there any disadvantage to wide stance squats to normal stance?
When I say wide stance, I mean very wide, in the Total Fitness squat racks my feet are an inch in from the edges, i find it helps me get lower.
    Thanks for all responses.
    Eric

they can be tough on your hips, but stretching can help sort that out

you will not benefit as much from the stretch reflex, but you will bring in more hams / glutes so it balances itself out
