    Hi all,

I've always been feeling a bit depressed, but lately it became much stronger, and i'm left with no motivation at all, and with huge feeling of emptiness and despair.

I think i need help, i can't keep on living like that.

But i'm a foreigner. I've been living here 3 years and have no personal GP.
I don't know where to go, who to talk to.
If you went trough the same, could you recommended the name/adress of a good and comprehensive doctor ?

    Thanks

Hi, you could try Dr Moloney in Kingston, Ballinteer. He only works mornings though.

Dont expect to be molly coddled but he is a very intelligent and knowlegable Doctor who will give you some very good advice and treatment suggestions. You wont be just fobbed off with some anti depressants.

If he feels you are serious he will take whatever steps necessary to make sure you get specialist help as soon as he can make it possible.

I have been seeing Dr Moloney for about 10 years now and the man has helped me hugely over the years.

Good luck Juloni, its tough going but there are some good doctors out there. If you can afford it go and see a counsellor. There is a place in Crumlin that charge 20 - 60 euro depending on your circumstances.

    thanks for the reply.
I'll check the website you posted, because Ballinter seems a bit far : )

I'm not really afraid to go. In the past i was thinking that life would make me tougher.
But now i just feel very tired, and weak. I know now i'm gonna need help, and i have to find where and how.

    thanks again.
