    The 6800 is quite an old Phone, And cant just switch be switched between Bands.

    * 850 MHz (In America)
    * 900 MHz (In Africa, Europe, and many parts of Asia and Latin America)
    * 1800 MHz (In Africa, Europe, and Asia and many parts of Latin America)
    * 1900 MHz (In America)

    What you would need would be a Phone that would work on these Bands.

    You may find it cheeper to get a phone in europe, rather then in the states (i assume your american)

    Your best plan of action would be to get a new phone. Honnestly

    wait... this is your phone, right?
