Hi Guys, Im new to boards.ie...so i might be posting in the wrong place but sure i'll give it a go!

It's my friends wedding in Sorrento at the end of September...looking for recommendations on places to stay that arent too expensive but clean and tidy and close to the action...

Love to hear from anyone with past experiences...

    Thanks

    Ruth:)

We stayed in Hotel Il Nido last year and it was excellent. It is a friendly family owned place about 10 minutes outside of the town but there is a free shuttle into town every hour. The owner even dropped us to the train station at 5am free of charge. Breakfast is very good and rooms are clean. It is relatively cheap too. The restaurant has a beautiful view of Mount Vesuvius also.

We stayed at the Bristol in Sorrento 2 years ago. Amazing hotel 5 minutes up the hill from the town.

It would be my recommendation but I doubt it will fit your needs as it is 5*. We couldnt afford it then and are still actually paying for it. Damned weddings.
