I wonder if your house was burning around you would you start a thread on boards asking what to do.

Email the gym and ask. They answer pretty sharpish too

You can contact them through the site, but according to their terms: membership is not transferable and membership fees are not refundable under any circumstance.

Probably the best option, just take his wristband and use it. They are not to strict on letting people in and id say you would be fine. If you look a bit like ur mate and are of the same gender then you should be fine.

The Student Steps to Getting Free Gym:

(1) Wear a hoodie.
(2) Wear the hood up, covering your head/face.
(3) Make use of an Ipod - make sure you have the earphones in and make it obvious that you're using an Ipod (do a little dance, sing a bit) - works as a distraction.
(3) Scan yourself in using your mate's card, and walk as fast as possible. DO NOT RUN - this is an art that must be practised.
(4) 9 times out of 10, if there is a problem, (like if they need to see your card), they won't bother chasing after the looney-student-who-dances-and-sings-his-way-to-the-gym-and-for-some-reason-likes-to-keep-his-face-covered.
