Simple Aer Lingus Baggage Question

    Hi,

    Just wondering is it the same as Ryanairs. The way you can bring on a bag for free while going straight to getting scanned and on-board through on-line check in?

    Cos, when I was looking at booking there, it asked how many bags I'd be bringing...so if I said 0, does this mean 0 checked in bags plus a bag you bring on board for free, or it means 0 when it says 0 for on board and checked in baggage.

    Thanks.

    Aerlingus.ie --> Baggage Information --> Cabin Baggage

    * Cabin baggage is restricted to 1 piece per passenger, weighing less than 6 kgs/13 lbs in total, and must fit in the overhead bin or under your seat. Cabin baggage limits are strictly enforced.

    * The maximum dimensions for a cabin bag are
    56cms x 45cms x 25cms or 22in x 18in x 10in.

    When booking it only refers to check-in bagggage.
