Minimum 50 euro per hour and up to anything really, most i know is about 100 though..

any less than 50 is just someone who is not confident in there abilities..

People still need and want to be trained well, if they value it they will continue to pay, pt rates will not drop, overall client base might but people will still want to be trained and if they need to give up a night on the town for to keep getting there pt they will-will doctors prices drop? Or any other professional jobs-i doubt it unless there is a drop in standard, its not like as if there is loads of new trainers coming along, it would be extremely hard to start from scratch thats for sure.

I own a private training facility, where we charge 25 euro for professional training in either boxing style training, sambo (russian mma) and strength and conditioning. We would rather be busy all day at 25 euro a head and have clients all year round. Although our overheads are low and thats passed onto the client.

thats not personal training as done by qualified personal trainers, thats martial art training. Cheap but not the same thing were talking about.

Well if the demand aint there and the supply stays the same, the price will drop.

Comparing PTs and Doctors is a little irrelevant given Doctors are neccessary and PTs certainly are not.

I also strongly disagree with people giving up a night on the town to keep their PT, alcohol sales arent really affected during a recession, like most forms of entertainment.

Id wager a lot of PTs will be feeling the crunch sooner rather than later and will have to adjust their prices accordingly OR find a way to justify the higher price by having some competive advantage.
