Recommended Sun-Beach holiday europe??

    looking to go away on hols with gf both mid 20s. Want to stay in a hotel/apartments on a beach with good pool. resort has to have a bit of life, good beaches, restarunts, good nightlife etc. and suits our ages - dont want to be in a reitrement village!

    dont want to end up in somewhere tacky, kip or somewhere thats boring either . Having been looking at lots of places so am interested in any recomendations?

    thinking of costa del sol, marbella - what are peoples views on this?

    Italy sounds good too but hard to find a good resort thats suitable for young couple and has good beaches!

    any help is appreicated!

    Makarska Riveria, in Croatia.
    Plenty beach, plenty nightlife and plenty to do if you want to get away from the beach, island tours etc.

    We went there a few years ago, spent the first week in Dubrovnik, second week here.
    Both fantastic places.
    I have to say, it is a bit more expensive than the med, but its nicer in my opinion.

    You can fly to Split or fly to Italy and get a ferry (probably cheaper)
