    Im going pike fishing this weekend and was just wondering what would be the best time of day to fish for them.?

    It might sound like a smart answer but dawn to dusk what you need to be sure.

    By way of explanation:
    In particular, I would like to have a bait in the water from dawn to 2 hours after sunrise, and from mid evening until twilight.

    As coolwings has said, early morning and late evening are your best bet. If you have to fish during the day, try to do so during overcast weather - direct sunlight just kills pike fishing, in my opinion.
