Hi, Does anyone know can Isofix be fitted to a Mercedes C180 (2006)?

A Maxi-Cosi Isofix base can be fitted to any car regardless of whether it has isofix anchor points or not. It can be held in place using a combination of the seat belt and isofix support bar.

I got one for my car because it does have the isofix points but ended up leaving it in the other half's car which doesn't. Hope this helps.

Try gumtree.ie or rollercoaster.ie, always cheap 2nd hand stuff.

Mothercare have them but are a bit expensive - you can also get them from www.kiddies24.com

Isofix bases aren't all standard i.e. if you buy a maxi-cosi seat you'll need the maxi-cosi isofix base.

    The pair..

Then make sure the buggy you get will accept the maxi-cosi. kiddies24 do kits to make them compatible i.e. the above car seat can clip on to a quinny buggy.

Maybe take a trip to mothercare or somewhere like that and they'll explain it to you.

I doubt any manufacturer will retro fit ISOFIX. As it's a safety feature it's part of the car from factory.
