Tickets for NFL games in USA

    Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me. Myself and a few friends are planning a trip to the states for the end of the year probably from 14 Oct - 16 Dec. Bang in the middle of the regular season!!

    We will probably be visiting (among other places) San Diego, Phoenix, Dallas, San Francisco, Oakland, New York.

    How easy is it to get tickets for games through ticketmaster or on matchday for games. I'm presuming it's impossible to get tickets for Cowboys, 49ers, Giants etc but could we turn up in Phoenix or Oakland and expect to be able to get a Cardinals or Raiders ticket? We would probably be in Phoenix around gameweek 7 and Oakland 11-12 around gameweek and San Diego around gameweek 14.

    Cardinals were just in a Superbowl so no to that. And as far as I know Raiders fans on here will correct me if Im wrong but Raiders games tend to be full even if they are doing bad.

    49ers actually will be your best bet. And I would try go to the ticket office not the day of the game but the day before.

    Short that go to the ticket section on the NFL website and some season ticket fans resell their tickets back and they tend to be cheaper than some other well known ticket agents.

    Over the last few years I've been to two 49er games (colts in 05) and the Redskins in 08) with US Ticketmaster to pick them up from the stadium. Beware though not every team uses Ticketmaster plus you probably would need a US residencial address

    What you should is ring up one of the teams that you're going too and say you're a lifelong fan and that you've come a long way to visit and who knows they might dish out a pre game pass. Worked like a charm for me at the Redskins game:)

    Have been to a couple of Miami Dolphins games and found getting tickets easy enough. I understand that the phins wouldn't be the greatest supported team in the NFL so maybe other teams may be more difficult.
    Each time I have gone, I checked Ticketmaster and found out well in advance when they were going on general sale. Just logged on early that day and bought tickets. No problem.
