    Mazda Crew Cab Diesel Pump problems

    Hi my friend has a diesel Mazda Crew Cab 2003 he is having problems with the diesel pump it will start then the fuel will not pump..... so it stalls its seems that it has electronic accelerator. Could this be a problem with the ECU or could be a common problem that can be fixed without huge expense.

    you will have to start at the tank
    if it was left go low or ran out of juice it might be airlocked or dirt gone into it

    to to rule out injector problems remove the feed line at the injectors and see if diesel is spurting out from all

    i would nearly guess its a dirty diesel problem,changing the fuel filter also will do it no harm and you can rule out the maybes before forking out bobs to replace or rebuild the fuel pump.
