I am looking to rent a car to drive from France(Paris) to Spain(Marbella. I only want the rental one-way, and its proving very difficult. Does anyone know of a car rental company that offers this kind of service? I know that Auto-Europe do, but cannot get a rental between these locations:o I really dont want to have to do a round trip:(
    Thanks

Country to country may be a problem alright. The car will have to be returned to the country of origin by the agency as otherwise it has to be considered an import, hence import duties will be applicable.
I suggest that you hire a car from Paris to Perpignan, cross the border and hire a Spanish reg'd car in Girona and use that to drive to Marbella.

Sixt certainly do this one way rental between countries. You may or may not have to pay a drop off fee but they definately do it because I had a concern before about the car I was driving in Paris which was a German registration. They said on mainland Europe they can drive any car anywhere.

tried to do this before from barca to nice but was geting charged €1000 extra for the drop off fee,so i got the train frfom barcelona over the border and rented a car from perpignan.maybe thats your best option.

Thank you all for the replies, I think that seems to be the best option.
